The location is ideal for a weekend away or a short break to explore Devon; Somerset and even further afield in the West Country. Within easy reach of the Bark House you can enjoy the countryside activities of fishing; horse riding; water sports and walking plus a great range of picturesque villages; gardens and historic buildings. Within easy reach of the Bark House are a variety of organised activity centres; as well as the moorland with wide open spaces. At Exebridge there is a fly fishing school; at Wimbleball a water sports centre; and throughout Exmoor a variety of Pony Trekking Centres.
