Avery House offers clean, friendly guest accommodation at reasonable prices. We are situated on a regular bus route (308/9) to Stansted Airport and are within walking distance of the old market town of Bishop's Stortford. Twin Room 1 is a large newly furnished room with two single beds and an ensuite which has a toilet, washbasin and a double sized shower cubicle and power shower. Twin Room 2 is also a large room with two single beds and Shaker style furniture. The room has recently been tastefully decorated and has an ensuite with toilet, washbasin and power shower. The Double Room is a large sunny room with a pine double bed, pine furniture and an original wooden floor. The private bathroom for this room has a toilet, washbasin and bath with a handheld shower attachment. All rooms have colour tv/video, coffee/tea making facilities, towels, toiletries and hairdryers. An iron and ironingboard are available on request. There is also wireless internet available for guests who bring their laptops. The spacious dining room overlooks the garden and is where breakfast is served. There is also a small conservatory which guests are welcome to use in the warmer months.
