Coach houses were traditionally warm and welcoming places. This particular example is one of a new breed, offering luxurious contemporary townhouse accommodation. The welcome is as big as ever. Marc and Tony are simply wonderful hosts (We always go that extra mile to make our gusts feel at home.) They are full of local knowledge on the best places to visit, walk, cycle or ride. Its part of the Coach Houses strong Sense of Place, which runs from photographs and maps of the Brecon Beacons on the walls to the Welsh delicacy breakfasts (try Eggs Brychan - scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and laverbread). Everything in the Coach House has been well thought out. The light airy bedrooms are of the highest standard with attention to detail. The private garden at the Coach House is an oasis of colour and a great place to relax, read a book or take a drink - and theres even an holistic therapist on hand to soothe away the stress of the day. We are a 4 star guest accommadation (townhouse) in the town of Brecon. We have a private carpark at the back of the house.

No of Rooms: 10
The Beacons was once a riverside farm and the 17th Century barns and cottages still remain. The front part of the building was added in the early 1700's and the house has changed little - apart from modern comforts and decor. The original spiral staircase, moulded ceilings and even the meat cellar (now a cosy bar) all add to the character and atmosphere of this lovely home. It is only a five minute walk across the River Usk bridge to the centre of Brecon (Aberhonddu) where you can still absorb the sights and sounds of the markets, visit the cathedral and its Heritage Centre, investigate the local Museums, Theatre Brycheiniog and Canal Marina, or stroll along the banks of the rivers Usk, Honddu and Tarrell - where kingfishers, herons and dippers are frequently spotted. The Brecon Beacons National Park is not only an area of outstanding natural beauty, with its moors, mountains, rivers, lakes and waterfalls, it is also a place where people live and work, helping to preserve the landscape and pass on traditional rural skills. Many types of outdoor activities can be enjoyed here - whether it be walking or windsurfing, caving or canoeing, gliding or gorgewalking. It is also an area that is steeped in history with castles, manor houses, chapels, priories and ancient villages and towns. Please Note:Non-smoking. No pets are permitted on the premises. Private parking facilities are available. All Children are Welcome. A Secure lock-up for push bikes also available. Check in from:16:00 Check-out time: 10:30

Each room is individually decorated in antique furniture, draped in fabrics from Elanbach and features work by celebrated artists such as Whistler, Sickert and Augustus John. Each room retains an aura of comfort and warmth. Rooms are enhanced with thoughtful personal touches, unexpected twists and interesting details ensuring our guests feel special, always. Seventeenth Century mirrors, Roberts radios and cast iron baths all add to the overall feeling of opulence. Dining reflects the classical elegance definitive of our style. Our three times over, Rosette winning chef cooks wholesome, traditional Scottish food albeit with a daring flourish. Our fine selection of wines compliments each dish exquisitely. We offer guests an array of services, assisting in conferences, weddings and an abundance of special events.

Peterstone Court country hotel and spa is situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is avant-garde and distinctive in its style remaining loyal to its Georgian heritage with a contemporary twist. All the bedrooms are large, light and spacious. Our approach to food is simple and honest. 90% of the meat and poultry served at our restaurant comes from our family farm just down the road. So we know exactly what our animals have been fed throughout their life, and hope this will also lessen our carbon impact on the environment. Our food is always seasonal and sustainable, using fresh, organic where possible home reared and local ingredients. Our spa uses only natural, organic products, a philosophy which has filtered down from the main house. We use Ytsara, from Thailand, and Circaroma , an award winning contemporary range (certified by the Soil Association).
