This 17th century coaching inn, recently under new management and with extensive renovation throughout is located on the old stagecoach route to Holyhead between Denbigh and Abergele. Llannefydd is a peaceful, unspoilt village sitting high in the hills. This spot 200m above sea level looks out to beautiful views of the sea - on a clear day it is possible to see as far as Blackpool and the Cumbrian mountains. The inn's black beamed lounge bar has undergone a complete renovation and transformation while retaining it's character and charm, ideal if you want to take it easy after an invigorating countryside walk, while enjoying a wide range of fine wines, ales and spirits. There is an extensive menu and where possible food is prepared from fresh, local ingredients; in addition to our usual evening menu we offer special Early Bird and Sunday lunch menus, and unique menus during the many special functions and themed nights the Inn holds. The Hawk and Buckle also offers fine overnight accomodation in individually decorated and furnished en-suite rooms, each of which has had complete renovation to reflect our desire for a cleaner, more elegant setting to complement the renovation in the rest of the building.
