The Green Dragon is pitched in the heart of Rural Wiltshire, in a sleepy little village at the foot of Salisbury Plain, though technically out in the sticks, we're only ever a short car ride from a wealth of interesting landmarks, sights and memorable experiences. We're about 30 minutes away from the Cathedral City of Salisbury, a similar distance from Historic Bath with all it's wealth of architectural history, as well as Stonehenge and Avebury. The Market towns of Devizes (5 miles), Marlborough, Hungerford and Chippenham are all a short scenic ride away and you're never far from somewhere to sit and enjoy a picnic. In fact, we even offer a packed-lunch service from the pub.
