We have Hadrians Wall accessible, it is only a short walk away. Many Visitors like to take a stroll after they arrive to take in the wonderful scenery we have to offer. We have easy access to many interesting places to visit, many visitors come for one day and find they wish to stay for longer. Hadrians Wall is a good day in itself!
We have the market town of Hexham only seven miles away with its wonderful abbey, antique shops and plenty of good eating places.
Kielder water is near and well worth a visit, as long as you don’t mind the midges! We are only an hour from the coast, Alnwick castle, which since Harry Potter, and their new water garden is well worth visiting. Cragside is a desirable place to see and Beamish Museum definitely not one to miss. There is so much to see in Northumberland that it usually requires more than one visit.
Rooms are either twin or double en-suite all with tea and coffee making facilities and colour televisions.
For the walker we offer packed lunches and luggage transfers. We also give walkers a lift to the local pub so they can enjoy their meal with a glass of wine.
Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement and we cater for all special diets.
