Welcome to the website of Highcliffe House. Originally built in the 1870's as a gentleman's summer residence, Highcliffe House, is now a beautifully restored guest house. As featured in The Sunday Times November 2007! Standing in its own grounds approximately 500ft above sea level, it commands stunning views of the Exmoor hills and coastline, Lynmouth Bay and across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. It is secluded yet only a few minutes walk from Lynton and the famous Cliff Railway. Many lovely walks can be started from the front door and Highcliffe House is a convenient base from which to visit National Trust properties, gardens and for sight-seeing. The house is situated within Exmoor National Park which has a character all of its own and was dubbed "Little Switzerand" by the Victorians. Highcliffe House is run by resident owners Mike & Karen Orchard and guests are assured a warm and friendly welcome, and a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We accept Credit Cards.

The Bath Hotel is a family owned and managed hotel located in the picturesque village of Lynmouth in North Devon. This delightful hotel enjoys stunning views over Exmoor and the sea. Decorated to a high standard by the friendly owners. Sinai House is a privately owned Victorian house built in 1860 as a gentlemen’s residence and situated on The Lynway, with the resident’s lounge, dining room and most bedrooms having magnificent scenic views over the Lyn valley and sea.

Built into the hillside with lovely terraced gardens and, very unusual in this area, a private car park. Sinai House is only a short walk from the village centre, which has many restaurants, shops and pubs.

The Sinai House has eight bedrooms, six with en suites and two with private facilities, two of the private facilities rooms are single rooms, also available is a residential licensed bar with a golfing theme and a lounge with games and a library.

Due to the number and range of restaurants within easy walking distance of Sinai House we operate on a bed and breakfast non-smoking basis.

Children over 12 are welcome, regret we are unable to accommodate pets.

There are numerous walks from Sinai House as well as fishing (seasonal), horse riding on Exmoor and sandy beaches within half an hour drive; public transport is also available to Barnstaple, Ilfracombe and Minehead from the public car park adjacent to the hotel.
