A warm welcome to High Cliff, a victorian house set in beautiful grounds that has been established as Bed & Breakfast for over 100 years. 2008 sees High Cliff fully refurbished under new management adding a touch of modern elegance to the historic texture High Cliff offers king size double and twin accommodation. All rooms are en-suite with the exception of the twin bedroom which has a private bathroom next door and bathrobes are provided. All rooms are equipped with colour TV, radio alarms, WiFi Internet access, ironing and hairdryer facilities, a bountiful hostess tray is in each room along with bottled water. While the house is non-smoking (as required by Scottish legislation) our guests are welcome to smoke in the patio area, and all guests are welcome to sit in the patio or by our small pond and may use the BBQ in the long summer evenings, you may even be lucky to get a glimpse of the red squirrels that frequent the wooded area on the cliff. Ample parking facilities are available and those sailing on the Chalice Cruise are welcome to leave their car for a small charge per day (if there is a space available). Breakfast served 8am till 9.30am. Continental breakfast is available for early ferry passengers. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. Departing guests are advised to vacate rooms by 10.30am on departure days Please note that we are now 4 Star graded. We regret we do not accept credit cards, however a modest deposit by cheque will ensure a booking and we can confirm by email or letter.

Alt Na Craig Guest House is in a peaceful secluded area just 15 minutes walk from the town centre. There are a selection of rooms, from comfortable doubles, to large family rooms for two adults and three children.

Guest rooms have spectacular views over Oban Bay to the Islands of Kerrera, Mull and beyond, and in the foreground are the beautiful quiet Alt Na Craig gardens and grounds.

The grounds include a watergarden, a small river with a waterfall, prizewinning rhododendrons, and Scots fir trees shaped by the winter winds.

Guests may sit and relax on the seats around the garden and breakfast may be taken outside in good weather. Scenic paths into the hills and glens south of Oban begin from the rear of the garden.
