Originally built as the stunning home of Baron Gisborough, Gisborough Hall has been transformed into a 71 bedroom luxury hotel set in wooded grounds in the picturesque market town of Guisborough, the ancient capital of Cleveland. Gisborough Hall is a Grade ll listed building and every effort has been made to retain the style and character of its Victorian and Edwardian heritage. Each of the 19 bedrooms and suites in the original Hall have been individually decorated to enhance their original features and many of the ensuite bathrooms have double wash hand basins and separate walk-in showers. For that special occasion 4 poster beds are available in 3 of the bedrooms and there is a pedestal bath set into the window recess at the foot of the bed in the Bachelor Room. In 2002 the Hotel was extended and the the new Woodlands Wing created. The decor of the 52 rooms that were added is in keeping with the style of the original hall and they each have views of the glorious Cleveland Hills or of the woodlands at the rear.
