The history of Beamish can be traced right back to the Norman Conquest and since then the Hall has been a home to several generations of prominent local families. Several areas of the hotel are now named in commemoration of these notable occupants. Located just of the A1(M), we are ideally located for easy access to Newcastle and Durham city centres.

With luxurious fittings and fixtures the bedrooms provide sumptuous accommodation furnished in a traditional style. We offer three different types of rooms: Classic, De Luxe and Premier.

Our stone built and newly re-furbished Inn has 16 ensuite bedrooms. The Bar and Snug have log beams, oak floors, open fires and an eclectic mix of wooden period furniture.
