You will be assured of a warm welcome at Locksley B&B. Winner of Bronze award for B&B of the year 2007 for North East Tourism Locksley B&B is a comfortable centrally heated family home, set in 1 acre of lovely gardens and on the prestigious Painshawfield Estate established in 1895. There is plenty of off road parking. We are now able to offer three rooms for guests: A twin en-suite (bath) room, a Family en-suite room with lift access, and the double downstairs bedroom, with en-suite (shower), there is also a seat for the shower and grab rails etc. This room has its own external door onto the drive, and is suitable for level 2 or 3 disability. All rooms have colour T.V., radio/alarm, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and many other extras for our guests to enjoy. There is a large comfortable lounge with an Inglenook Fireplace, Piano, T.V., Video and DVD player and a variety of indoor games. Breakfast is taken in the sunny breakfast room. Locksley is a NON smoking establishment, although a summer house is available for use by smokers. We accept children over the age of 12 years. Although dogs are very welcome, they are not allowed in the house, but some very comfortable accommodation is available for them in a converted stable, which can be heated in the cooler weather. There are also dying facilities for Fisherman, Walkers and Cyclists. We look forward to welcoming you!
