We are situated in the heart of Ambleside, surrounded by dramatic scenery and just a minutes walk away from the town's many eating places, pubs, shops and other amenities.

Our house is a stone built Victorian building retaining some of its original character and providing excellent facilities at an affordable rate. We have single, double, twin and family rooms, all furnished and decorated to a high standard. We are a non-smoking house.

We know the Lake District well and will be pleased to help you to make the most of your holiday in our beautiful area.

There are many fine walks and cycle routes available on all levels right from our door. We can help you to plan your walk/ride.

Lake Windermere is a 15 minute stroll away for boat trips or just to enjoy the stunning views.

Our town has many interesting shops, eating places, pubs and 2 cinemas.

Tennis, bowls and putting are right on our doorstep.

We are also right next to the main bus stops.
