Description
Carol & Tony would be pleased to host you in their mews house in St Agnes which is a short walk to all of the village amenities. From the village it is only 600 metres to the sea and about 400 metres to the cliff top.
The house is in a small Mews overlooking St Agnes Beacon. Parking is available in the mews for our guests. Each of the two rooms has a double bed, one with an en-suite shower room and the other with a bathroom.
The rooms have tea making facilities and TV.
Atlantic Mews is a new small development of 8 homes situated in a quiet spot in St Agnes Village.
Transport arrangements can be made for dropping off and collecting walkers and also for visitors arriving by train at Truro Station or Newquay Airport.
Guests are more than welcome to use our Garden.
Carol and Tony are here to welcome you to explore this part of the world and are happy to offer their accommodation where they will use their local knowledge to help you enjoy your holiday.
Attractions
St Agnes is on the north coast of Cornwall in a historic tin mining area. St Agnes village still retains its mining heritage which has largely protected the area from tourist over-development. Within the parish of St Agnes there are 8 historic engine houses which are an icon of the Cornish Countryside
St Agnes has three local beaches which satisfy the beachcomber, the surfer and the whole family.
These are supplemented by many other great beaches in the surrounding area but beaches are not the only delights that St Agnes can offer. For the walker (of all types) St Agnes can offer some outstanding walks, both coastel and inland which can take your breath away, even on a still day.
For those who prefer using 4 wheels instead of 2 legs there are many great places of interest within 30/40 minutes drive from our village, from stately homes, exotic gardens to wonderfull panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the moors.
For the more active we have great surfing, quad bikes, horse riding, snorkling, cycling and numerous other activities.
For those with more interest in wildlife we welcome the twitchers, seal and dolphin watchers, and those who just want to see the fantastic array of flora & fauna in the many different habitats that can be found in Cornwall.
The village has 7 pubs and restaurants giving a range of meals and prices.
During your stay Carol and Tony are happy to help you enjoy you stay by suggesting or organising places to visit. St Agnes is on the North Cornwall Coastal path and is a gem for all walkers as the cliff and surrounding area are feasts of colour with the gorse and heather which have overtaken the old mine workings.
