Abbey Farm sits on the site of Merevale Abbey, the 12th century Cistercian ruins are in the garden, the house being constructed from its reclaimed stone. Formerly a manor house and a cheese factory, views from the house sweep over the lake, once stocked with fish by the Monks, over paddocks and up to Merevale Hall to the South and to the historic church to the West. No longer a working farm, in addition to the bed and breakfast, Abbey Farm is a thriving livery yard.
All rooms are large doubles, two are en-suite and one has a large private bathroom. Twin rooms and family rooms can be accommodated. Guests have their own dining room/lounge containing period features and an open fire.
All rooms are non-smoking and a hearty farmhouse breakfast is included.

Malcolm & Jenny look forward to welcoming you!
