Abbey Lodge Guest House is the large Victorian town house home of Linda and Mike Forbes, situated in the heart of Southsea. We will be delighted to welcome you into our home from home. Once you are here, you can relax and enjoy everything we and the area have to offer.

We are just a ten minute stroll from the beach and within easy reach of the Historic Dockyard, Heritage Museums, Portsmouth University campus, Gunwarf Quays shopping and entertainment complex, Spinnaker Tower, Kings Theatre and Wedgewood Rooms. Ferries to France, Spain and the Isle of Wight are nearby.

Accommodation is provided in nine comfortably furnished rooms, where a cosy and welcoming atmosphere is combined with individual attention. A generous, home cooked, traditional English breakfast is cooked to order for you and vegetarian diets are catered for.

The businessman is equally pampered, with free wireless Internet access for his laptop and free UK fax facilities.

Cyclists are welcome and we are happy to store bikes overnight and to keep your luggage safe should you wish to check in early or leave late. We are lucky to be in one of the few areas in Portsmouth without a residents’ parking scheme, so local on-street parking is plentiful and free.
