Criccieth is a delightful seaside town on the Llyn Peninsula coast between Porthmadog & Pwllheli.
Served by its own train station and situated close to main routes, it is a perfect place from which to base your North Wales holiday.
The town boasts a magnificent 13th Century hilltop castle that serves as focal point to the surrounding area. If you are a first time visitor to Criccieth, then the breathtaking view of the castle against the ocean to be seen as you enter the town, will surely remain with you for many years.
Criccieth beach is easily accessible and is served by a beach side cafe. The town is also served by an RNLI lifeboat station, which is a great source of pride for the town.
