This charming and elegant Victorian house was built in 1892 and is situated in a quiet road only 40 metres from the beach. Entering the hallway you will step back in time. It was in 1789 that Eastbourne entertained it's first visitors. George III sent the royal children to "Sea Houses" for their summer holidays. The idea that the air and sea water was "good for ones health" took hold and the yearly summer holiday idea began.

All rooms are centrally heated, have free internet access through wi-fi and white robes for your comfort.

The ALICE ROOM this beautiful period style room with a super kingsize canopied bed and large en-suite bathroom, is the perfect place to relax in. The room has a sea view, colour t.v., courtesy tray and hair dryer (guests may choose to have this room as a twin room.

The LEOPOLD ROOM has a calm & tranquil atmosphere. The beautiful antique canopied double bed is draped with cream curtains. The room has a seaview and large shower ensuite. Colour t.v, courtesy tray & hair dryer completes the comfort of your stay.

The Romantic BEATRICE and HELENA ROOMS.These rooms have a true period feel.The double bed has a canopy in Toile de Jour with matching window drapes. For your comfort an en-suite shower, colour t.v., courtesy tray, and hair dryer, everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The LOUISE ROOM is a single room with an antique corona draped bed, colour t.v., courtesy tray and hair dryer. The large ensuite bathroom has a bath and hand held shower.

It is a joy to have breakfast in this charming breakfast room with hand painted frescoed walls. Patio doors lead out onto the courtyard garden where breakfast maybe eaten here, weather permitting.

The Courtyard garden is small but very pretty, breakfast may be eaten here weather permitting.
