Alverbank House was built in 1842 and now, as it was 150 years ago, the hotel is an ideal retreat for unwinding at the end of a busy working day, or relaxing on a weekend break. Only a minute from the sea, the hotel is secluded amongst pine trees and landscaped gardens. We operate a very personal ‘home-from-home’ for our guests, in an atmosphere of courteous service.

The hotel overlooks the Solent and Isle of Wight which hosts the world famous Cowes week. Many of the nautical attractions of the British Navy including H.M.S Victory, the Mary Rose and the Submarine Museum are ten minutes away. Local sport and leisure facilities include sailing and watersports, golf, tennis, swimming, ice skating and indoor sports.
