Avondale B&B is family run; the house was built at the turn of the century, and the three rooms are comfortably furnished for B&B.

Although only a short walk from the town centre it is a quiet area with lovely views over the town, river and countryside.

We have 3 room options for guests to chose from:-

1. Double Main Room, with a King size bed, Spacious room with shower & en suite.

2. The Avon Room, which is a Small comfortable Double/has a single rate, room with its shower en suite.

3. Family Room, spacious family room Double Bed and adults size bunk beds, room can be used as a Double/Twin/Treble or for a famliy/party of four.

To make your stay more home from home, all rooms have TV/DVD/CD/Alam Clock Radio/Hair dryer/Free Internet in hallway/Toiletriers and Towels, also Frigde in Main and Family rooms.

Dartmouth is a beautiful, historic naval town on the River Dart estuary. It is in South Devon on the route of the Devon coastal path and in easy reach of Dartmoor.

It makes it an ideal place for walkers to stay. There is much to see and do:- Cruises on the beautiful River Dart to Totnes; Steam trains to and from Paignton; There are daily Sea fishing trips, Dartmouth’s famous golf course, Dartmouth Castle, Britannia Royal Naval College, Museums, 14th & 15th century pubs, Agatha Christie’s house and many excellent restaurants.

For children there are nearby Adventure parks, Farms, and award-winning beaches such as Blackpool Sands. No one will be disappointed by a stay in Dartmouth and the surrounding area.
