Bangors Organic is a very special place to stay. Offering top quality accommodation with traditional style, pared down elegance in the restored Victorian house and luxury contemporary chic in the converted Coach House and Stables suites.

Attention to detail, a friendly welcome and home grown, local and organic food and drink. Our aim is to make your stay relaxing and memorable.

The Rooms: -

The Stables suite - a stunning suite on two floors with private courtyard garden and entrance, ground floor sitting room with TV,DVD, drinks fridge, terracotta tiles and underfloor heating. The first floor bedroom has a 5
foot double bed, a freestanding bath and seperate shower.

The Coach House suite – light and airy this suite is entirely on the ground floor with a private entrance through a huge glass sliding door into the vaulted sitting room, with TV, DVD, drinks fridge, terracotta tiles and underfloor heating throughout. There are no steps into or inside this suite so it is suitable for wheelchair access, if required.
The bedroom has a 6 foot linked double bed (can be twin singles if required) and a superb ensuite, wet room shower room.

The Stables and Coach House suites can be rented as one unit.

The Menhir rooms – Large double bedroom in the main house, with original wooden floors, underfloor heating and a 5 foot antique bed. The ensuite bathroom is enormous with 2 basins, a freestanding bath and a separate shower. The rooms have great views over the gardens including the granite Menhir (standing stone) and towards the village of Week St Mary.

The Lundy rooms – So named because on a clear day you can see Lundy island in the distance this room in the main house has sea views and lovely evening light including the best view of the sunsets. A spacious bedroom with a lovely antique French double bed leads to a very special bathroom full of restored original fittings, including a fabulous Victorian plunger bath.

Here on our 5 acre organic holding we have gardens and grounds producing all the fresh organic produce that we need for the house and restaurant.

As many of our guests will know, growing is hard work and organic growing is very hard work. But the results are worth all the effort, and nothing compares to the flavours and textures of fresh vegetables and salads picked from the garden, washed, prepared and served immediately.

We believe that farming and food production should be sustainable, honest, diverse and healthy and therefore not only do we grow organically we also cater organically using the produce we grow ourselves.

Bangors Organic is set in five acres of grounds, gardens and pasture, certified as fully organic by the Soil Association since February 2006. Just one mile from the Atlantic, we have superb panoramic views, and are close to excellent walking and surfing all year round.

The small bustling town of Bude is five miles away and many popular destinations such as Hartland, Clovelly, Padstow, The Eden Project and Heligan are all less than an hour away. This makes Bangors Organic an excellent base to tour from.

Ideally located for that long weekend break, we are just over an hours drive from Exeter. You can arrive on Friday evening, relax in a luxurious bath and then enjoy a delicious organic meal, prepared by our chef Ian, using freshly picked seasonal produce from the gardens.

The accommodation we offer is also ideal for private 'house' parties of up to 8 people with dinner available in our restaurant, or if you are visiting as 2 couples, you can choose either the main house rooms or the Coach House suites.
