Beverleigh will provide an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful countryside and spectacular coastline of Exmoor National Park with its hundreds of miles of footpaths and bridleways.

The South West coast path starts on the seafront and follows the coast to Lands End and to Poole Harbour in Dorset.

The town of Minehead and the surrounding area has many leisure facilities.

There is a good links golf course nearby as well as riding stables, sea and fresh water fishing and plenty of interesting places to visit for those wanting to walk.

The West Somerset Steam Railway is based in the town and its 22 miles of track have a backdrop of the beautiful Somerset countryside.

During the summer the paddle steamer "Waverley" and the MV "Balmoral" sail from the harbour. Fishing trips by boat can be arranged.
