Originally dating back to the mid 1500's, Brambles Bed and Breakfast Tiverton is perfect for a relaxing short break or holiday in picturesque surroundings and is also ideal for guests attending weddings and other functions, visiting family and friends, working in the area, house hunting or simply breaking a longer journey somewhere near the M5. Hidden and unspoilt, Whitnage, near Tiverton in Devon, is a quiet rural hamlet with panoramic views of the Culm Valley and the Blackdown Hills. Less than a mile from Sampford Peverell, along a short section of traditional narrow high-banked lane, Brambles Bed and Breakfast at Whitnage is only 4 miles from Tiverton town centre and has easy access to the M5 at junction 27 for Taunton, Wellington, Exeter, Cullompton, Honiton and the A361 for Tiverton, South Molton, Barnstaple and North Devon.

All guest rooms have refreshment trays with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herb & fruit tea, bottled water, colour TV, DVD / CD player, hairdryer, towels and are centrally heated. Beds are made up with duvets as standard or, if requested at the time of booking, with blankets.

Brambles has four main guest rooms.

The Garden Room, located in the annex next to the main cottage, has a king size bed (which can be split to form a twin) with extra large ensuite shower. There is space within the room for a travel cot or a folding bed. Guests come to the main cottage for breakfast.

The Linhay Room also located in the annex forms part of the self catering cottage. If it is required for bed and breakfast it has a double bed and bathroom with bath and shower, again guests come to the main cottage for breakfast. The Rose Room is located in the main cottage and has an oak style king size half tester bed and a private bathroom.

The Amber Room is also within the main cottage and has a king size draped four poster bed and private bathroom. There is space for a travel cot or a toddler bed. When required as a Family Suite it is combined with the Green Room which has adult size bunk beds for children.

Travel cots, folding beds for children, high chair and booster seat are available if required. Also we offer a "Baby Pack" which includes a baby bath, change mat, food warmer and other useful things to help parents minimise what they need to bring with them when away from home with a little one.

Wine glasses, a cork screw, iron and ironing board, sewing repair kit and shoe cleaning products are all available on request. Also if you are booking for a special occasion you may want to consider our "Celebration Pack" which includes Flowers, Champagne & Chocolates.

Brambles Bed and Breakfast at Whitnage, near Tiverton in Devon has a large private garden for you to enjoy where you will almost certainly meet the friendly old fashioned hens (Mabel, Daisy and Myrtle).
