There are a number of pubs providing food in the villages of Shorne and Higham including a "Harvester Pub/Restaurant" within walking distance, which saves you having to drive and you can have a pint or two.

There is a number of takeaways; chinese, indian and fish and chips on the local parade of shops near the Shell petrol station (free ATM machine) at parade of shops in Leander Drive.

2 miles away is Gravesend town centre where there are a number of restaurants and pubs. Beside McDonalds Restaurant in Windmill Street there is the "Robert Pocock" which is a Weatherspoons pub/restaurant where the beer is cheap and the food is reasonably priced.

Bluewater Shopping Experience and Cinema is 15 minutes away on the A2 heading towards London at Bean/Greenbithe. Also Ebbsfleet International railway station for Eurostar to Paris.
