Charnwood Lodge Guest House, Loughborough has been established for 15 years. In 2001 the present owners Liz and Klaus purchased the adjoining property thus enabling them to expand the Lodge, giving their Guests more public areas to relax and enjoy their stay in this high quality Bed and Breakfast B & B's accomodation, with disabled access and more private car parking.

The most impressive feature of the expansion is the Dining room which is set in the atrium, furnished with solid oak furniture and a feature water fountain in a small enclosed courtyard. The Lounge and Bar areas are all tastefully decorated and furnished to suit their surroundings.

The accommodation is all en-suite bedrooms, which are tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard and include central heating, a colour T.V. a complimentary beverages tray. There is for that special day a four-poster honeymoon suite available.

There are seven ground floor bedrooms including one which is suitable for the less abled visitor with wide access doors for a wheelchair.

There are many activities and places of interest within easy reach of Charnwood Lodge.

Only ten minutes drive away is the beauty of Charnwood forest, a walkers paradise with wonderful scenery such as the Beacon. Bradgate Park (the home of Lady Jane Grey, the 9 day queen), Jubilee woods and the Outwoods.

The river soar nearby offers some of the best course fishing in the country, permits can be obtained from a local tackle shop.
