It is ideally placed for exploring North Norfolk, and for those wishing to visit the market town of Holt, just a few minutes drive away.
There are many good eating places, a small theatre and the well known Sheringham Links Golf Club, one of the best in the UK.
Both Sheringham and Cromer have small theatres which are very popular. The Theatre Royal at Norwich holds national productions and is only one hour by car, or train from Sheringham.
