Our guesthouse boasts a variety of rooms designed to meet your specific requirements, making the Conifers an ideal choice for business or vacation travellers. The guesthouse has been recently refurbished to high quality standards and all rooms are en suite. For added convenience, we have free on-site parking and for your leisure and relaxation a large rear garden to enjoy.
We are within walking distance of the Shotover Country Park and on the edge of the Cotswolds with its many picturesque villages and varied attractions.

We are situated in a pleasant residential area within the Oxford ring road and in close proximity to the Headington Hospitals (Nuffield Orthopedic Centre, Churchill Hospital, Warneford Hospital, St Luke's Hospital, Manor Hospital and The John Radcliffe Hospital - with A&E Dept) and Shotover Country Park.

The city centre and the colleges of the University of Oxford are just a couple of miles away, served by regular bus services. Oxford Brookes University, BMW Car Plant, and the Oxford Business and Science Parks are local.

Direct frequent coach services via the M40 motorway to London, Heathrow and Gatwick airports depart from Central Headington. This is within walking distance of The Conifers.

We can also provide short and long term lets with kitchenette facilities, which is ideal for people on holiday for a few weeks or on sabaticals.

Oxford has a wealth of attractions, ranging from the glorious colleges to the expansive grounds and parks.

The Oxford Story is an attraction used by many tourists, which takes you through a history of the city. The shopping is excellent, as is the Wednesday Gloucester Green Market.

The city has a vibrant nightlife, with several bars, cafes and nightclubs open till late. Oxford is also an ideal base to explore other areas of interest, with buses regularly travelling to London and Stratford Upon Avon.
