Description
Set in the grounds of a converted Cornish watermill, Coriander Cottages offers you a unique experience.
Located in the picturesque ancient port of Fowey in Cornwall, our cottages and garden suite rooms are an ideal base for visiting the county's enchanting gardens and world-famous Eden Project
Just like a hotel, our deluxe self catering barn is available on a nightly basis with bed and breakfast if required. Perfect if you enjoy the quality of a 5-star hotel but are reluctant to pay for facilities you rarely use. Take a look at our Cottages page for more information.
We are the only place in Cornwall to offer deluxe, environmentally-conscious cottages and B&B in one stunning location. We are proud to be members of C.o.a.S.T. and do our best to operate a sustainable and ecologically aware business.
Our new environmentally-conscious, open-plan barns have been built from the remains of the old cyder barns which belonged to the watermill. They have been sympathetically restored and converted into holiday cottages using skilled Cornish craftsmen and local, traditional materials.
If you want a holiday in Cornwall that doesn't cost the earth, literally, there can be no finer choice than Coriander Cottages.
Located in Fowey, we offer bed and breakfast in three en-suite rooms, each with independent access from the olive garden and courtyard or the wild flower meadow. Each bedroom has a small fridge and microwave, ironing and hot beverage making facilities, LCD TV, DVD player and hairdryer.
A delicious full Cornish breakfast, cooked on the Mill House AGA, using local and award-winning produce, is served in the breakfast barn, or on a sunny Cornish morning, in the Olive Courtyard of preferred.

Attractions
The quintessentially Cornish port of Fowey is just over a mile from the Mill. A lovely stroll passing the foot ferry to Bodinnick and along Passage Street, past the lifeboat station to the harbour.
Fowey ( pronounced 'Foy" ) is now a bustling small town of pretty whitewashed cottages, with a fine range of independent shops, and bars and bistros with terraces out over the magnificent harbour.
Fowey is synonymous with the writer Daphne Du Maurier, with many of Daphne Du Maurier's novels inspired by Fowey and the surrounding area, including Rebecca and Frenchman's Creek.
If you're looking for a fascinating and educational day out, then head over to the Eden Project.
The Eden Project, dubbed the eighth wonder of the world, is just 15 minutes drive from the Mill. Created in a disused china clay pit outside St Austell, the Eden Project displays the diversity and riches of the world's flora and explores the relationship between plants and people.
ornwall is famed for its magnificent gardens. As well as the Eden Project, we are just a short distance from the magical gardens of Trebah and Trewithen.
The National Trust property of Lanhydrock and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, rediscovered in 1990 after 75 years of neglect, are just a short drive away from us, along with the quaint harbourside town of Mevagissy.
There are many smaller gardens locally, including the Pine Lodge Gardens, Old Mill Herbary and Marsh Villa Gardens. We provide more information on these gardens in our rooms.
