Description
Coswarth House is a unique Victorian property built around 1850. Situated on the slopes above Padstow, the house offers three guest rooms, off street parking and stunning views across the Camel estuary to Rock.
Formerly part of the Prideaux estate and once the Factor's residence, Coswarth House has now been thoughtfully restored by Mike and Mary to provide the perfect combination of traditional accommodation with contemporary comforts and luxurious bathrooms.
Coswarth House is just a few minutes stroll from the picturesque harbour, with its excellent choice of restaurants and lively, cosy pubs, but is far enough away for you to escape the bustle of the town.
On your arrival we'll invite you to relax into your stay with a welcoming drink served in our own sitting room or, if you'd prefer, in the privacy of your own room.
If you're going to be travelling late and would like a sandwich or other snack on your arrival, then let us know and we'll have it waiting for you
We want your stay at Coswarth House to be as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Our guests benefit from large, airy rooms decorated in soothing, neutral tones, furnished with good quality period and contemporary furniture.
Our rooms offer the following features:
Antique, cast iron roll top baths and separate walk in showers.
A range of toiletries, hand blended by Mary, using aromatherapy essential oils. You can choose the range to suit your mood, whether you're in need of relaxation or invigoration.

Attractions
Revive is our in-house aromatherapy massage service offering a range of treatments to suit your individual mood.
Whether you need a foot bath and massage after a long walk or perhaps a complete body massage, Mary can tailor your treatment to leave you relaxed or revived - the choice is yours.
All oils used are blended for you personally after an individual consultation to ensure that your body and mind are in tune for the rest of your holiday.
If you'd like to continue to experience the benefits when you return home, Mary can blend a range of toiletries to suit your needs.
Padstow itself is full of restaurants, pubs, cafes and an eclectic range of small shops. The harbour, just a few minutes stroll from Coswarth House, is the life and soul of the town and is the perfect place to while away the time, watching the world go by.
On a balmy summer evening there's not much to beat sitting on the harbour edge with a bag of Rick Stein's fish and chips before finding the energy to wander 10 yards for refreshment in the form of a glass (or bottle) of wine at the Bin Two wine terrace.
