Unquestionably the finest views of Loch Ness from any property around the loch can be seen from the windows of this hotel.The conservatory is a lovely spot to sit and relax with a book in the summer months and spy on the local wildlife in the surrounding woodland. There are red squirrels, deer, pheasants and partridge and on occasion you might spot the hotel's own resident Harris' hawks! Relax in the deep cushioned sofas of the drawing room in front of a roaring log fire, decorated in soft colours with extensive wood panelling, giving an ideal atmosphere in which to unwind with an after dinner drink.The surrounding area is full of natural beauty, with fascinating walks along the loch and through the forests at Foyers, Dores, Inverfarigaig and Fort Augustus. Some of the world's best boating, fishing and shooting are found nearby, as well as a huge range of scenic, top quality golf courses.
