Description
Set in an area rich in natural beauty, and offering superior B&B accommodation, Deneview Guest House is 2 miles from Consett in a rural village called Castleside, on the edge of the Durham Dales.

On the main A68 trunk road to Scotland and 12 miles north of Durham City, it is ideally situated for an overnight break for travellers, or a great base to spend a few days just visiting many of the local attractions and places of interest.

The spacious rooms are double/twin or single, furnished to a high quality all with en-suite facilities, digital colour TV and tea / coffee facilities.

Deneview Guest House welcomes cyclists and has ideal facilities for your use.

The C2C route crosses the main A68 trunk road at Rowley near Consett. Turn left (North) and follow the A68 for one mile to Castleside.

Deneview Guest House is straight over the crossroads, on your right hand side about 25 yards past the Smelter's Arms pub (another place for great food).

Lock your cycle up safe in the double garage and use the drying and ironing facilities. Reward yourself with your en-suite hot shower and a nice hot cuppa!

If you arrange it in advance, they'll prepare you a packed lunch for your journey. (Don't forget to clean and fill your water bottle.)

We look foward to welcoming you.
