Bev and David welcome you to Elm Tree Cottage. This charming B&B near Bristol offers a haven of tranquility away from the stress of everyday life.
Elm Tree Cottage is a genuine country cottage which startedlife over 250 years ago as a row of three to house
quarry workers. Now one large house it has been altered and extended and gently evolved into a B&B. It enjoys a reputation for exceptional hospitality, friendly and efficient service, comfortable bedrooms and good food.

We provide a quality selection of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and juice, followed by a traditional cooked breakfast with lots of choices. Most ingredients and produce are organic and free range and of the highest quality. Lighter alternatives include smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or pan fried mushrooms on whole meal toast with grilled basil tomatoes Vegetarians are also well catered for by Bev,
being vegetarian herself. A favorite from the weekend specials is American style sour cream pancakes with banana and maple syrup.

Set in the beautiful countryside of rural North Somerset,
Elm Tree Cottage is situated 8 miles South West of Bristol and close enough to J 19/20 of the M5 making it an ideal location for stopping off. It stands in quiet seclusion in the conservation area of Tickenham Hill with wonderful southerly
panoramic views.
Guests can use the footpath from the front gate which leads into Towerhouse Wood; ancient woodland owned by the Woodland Trust and just yards away. With the benefit of the a footpath direct from the front gate we are ideally located for leisurely strolls in the adjacent woods and river banks or longer walks to take advantage of some of the many fabulous views like Cadbury Camp an Iron Age settlement now owned by the National Trust, which has views to the Mendips, Severn Estuary and Brecon Beacons beyond.
