Within 3 miles of Sidbury is the coastal town of Sidmouth, a glorious floral town by the sea. The Regency esplanade, well-tended parks and floral displays, pretty beaches and small local shops, all offer an abundance of reasons to visit this beautiful town. Sidmouth lies cradled in the gentle arc of a bay beneath glorious red sandstone cliffs that soar above the town. The cliffs in turn, provide a sheltering suntrap for the beaches that, at low tide, stretch along it’s western edge. Unfolded here is a magical vista of sea, beach and heritage coast, as timeless as the town itself.
