Fern Hill Orchard is a friendly, family run BandB situated in the unique ancient township of Laugharne, whose many customs date back to the 12th century. Sleepy, timeless seatown on sandy fringes of Carmarthen Bay made famous by Dylan Thomas. Has changed little since his time.The BandB is within a short walking distance of Dylans Boat House, Laugharne Castle and the Estuary, there is a variety of restuarants close by, and Broadway Mansion and Hurst House are only a short drive away. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room and orchard garden, which backs onto a park.Refreshments are offered on arrival, a full Welsh breakfast is included in the price - why not try our local delicacy lava bread(seaweed)? Special dietry needs can be catered for with prior notice. Also we can pick you up from the local station £6 minimum each journey. Children are welcome, for really young children please bring your own travel cot. The twin room is suitable for children, 2-6 years £8.00 per child per night, 7-11 years £12.00 per child per night, 12 years + £30.00 per child per night. We have also been approved by Visit Wales for Walkers and Cyclists.
