Five Rise Locks Hotel is a delightful Visit Britain four star rated hotel located in West Yorkshire. The hotel is just a couple of minutes from the A650 main road, and the busy heart of West Yorkshire - yet it’s tucked down a lane in a quiet residential area.

The centres of Leeds and Bradford are so close - either by car or train. The airport is about 20 minutes drive. For tourists, Haworth, Skipton, “Emmerdale Country” and Harrogate are all a short drive away. Other places of interest in the area are Keighley, Saltaire and Bronte country.

The hotel is a Victorian house built in 1875. It is charming throughout, with period furniture, interesting paintings on the walls and some striking ceramics. It’s an independent hotel and can therefore allow itself to be more individual, less bland, less soulless, than some of the big chain hotels. The style is relaxed and friendly.

The hotel provides excellent food, a terraced garden giving restful views of the surrounding countryside and Airedale.
