For those who love to walk, many footpaths are within easy reach, including The Old Railway, The Hangers Way and the East Hampshire Literary Walks. Noar Hill Nature Reserve is close by as is Selborne, home of Gilbert White, the famous 18th century naturalist and author of 'The Natural History of Selborne'.
