Glan Heulog is a fine Victorian house situated in an elevated position in a quiet residential area, a few minutes walk from the World Heritage town of Conwy.
Glan Heulog Guest House is run by Viv and Stan Watson-Jones and guests are offered a very warm welcome and personal care, help is always available with information on how to make the most of your stay in Conwy and the breathtaking scenery around us.
We also offer off road parking in our private car-park, guests are also welcome to use the garden with its views across to Snowdonia.
Guests without own transport will find an excellent bus and train service throughout the area.
Glan Heulog Guest House has 7 bedrooms, 4 en suite double rooms, 1 en suite twin-bedded room, 1 twin-bedded room with private bathroom and 1 en suite four-poster or family bedroom.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with remote control colour television, hair dryer, clock radio and hospitality tray.
GLAN HEULOG GUEST HOUSE IS STRICTLY NON-SMOKING.
A breakfast of fruit juice and cereal can be followed by a choice of Full Welsh or yoghurts and fresh fruit. Breakfast is served in an elegant dining room with views overlooking the Glan Heulog garden and the castle walls. Vegetarian or special diets can be catered for.

Glan Heulog Guest House is ideally situated to visit Conwy and the surrounding area.
The town of Conwy has many things to offer. Visit the magnificent Conwy Castle built by King Edward in the 13th Century and town walls which are amongst the finest in Europe, stretching for Ύ mile with 22 towers and 3 original gateways. The castle and walls are open to the public and make an ideal vantage point for breathtaking views of the Conwy Estuary.
Plas Mawr is one of the finest Elizabethan Houses in the country and well worth a visit, as are Aberconwy House and Britains smallest house situated on the picturesque harbour. In the summer months river trips are available and at night try an organized Ghost Walk though Conwys narrow streets.
The Conwy Honey Fair dates back more than 700 years and is held every September 13th and the Seed Fair in March another long upheld tradition.
Conwy provides an ideal location from which to explore the many surrounding areas of interest. Snowdonia National Park is nearby with its wonderful untouched scenery of mountains, lakes and rivers. Mount Snowdon from which the area derives its name is the highest in England and Wales at 1085 metres high, the summit can be reached by foot or on the famous Snowdon rack and pinion railway.
Also within easy reach are Caernarfon and Beaumaris Castle. A trip may be enjoyed on many of the narrow guage steam railways or down a slate or copper mine. Sailing, bird watching at the local RSPB bird reserve, golf or walking are just a few of the things on offer.
The Sychnant Pass, just a few minutes drive away has panoramic views, take a walk up Conwy Mountain with views of the sea on one side and mountains stretching away on the other. There are many National Trust Properties in the area, including Penrhyn Castle, Plas Newydd and the spectacular Bodnant Gardens.
The Guest House is a convenient stop-over for visitors from Ireland, we are less than a 1 hour drive from Holyhead.
