Glyn Isa (meaning lower valley ) is a 17th Century Country House,offering bed and breakfast accommodation. The house dates back to 1626 and is set in 10 acres of mature private gardens and land against a backdrop of mountains on the edge of Snowdonia National Park with beautiful views over the Conwy valley, just next to a fishing lake. We have all en suite rooms and the house retains many of its orignal features (plus the occasional ghost!!) and antiques. This is a very tranquil spot, where you can walk, cycle, or just sit and enjoy the quietness.... but the medieval walled town of Conwy, with its 13th Century castle plus many shops, bars and restaurants and Llandudno....more shops, bars and restaurants are both less than 10 minutes drive away. All rooms have lovely views over lawns, gardens, or orchards......, where you are very welcome to wander, or maybe sit and read. We have a couple of very good local pubs for your evening meal which are less than a mile away ( an easy walk) ...Welsh singing a must on Friday nights in the village.. We also have a wealth of National Trust properties in the area, such as the magnificent Bodnant Gardens, Penrhyn Castle, Plas Newydd, Aberconwy House, and others, such as Caernarfon Castle, Beaumaris Castle and Plas Mawr.
