We are proud of the restful, friendly atmosphere that we aim to create; Guests have access to their rooms at all times and we offer a comfortable lounge in which to relax, peruse the morning paper, chat with friends, read a book or even have a little nod in front of a warming fire after a days activity exploring the wonderful coastline of Sidmouth.
Our light and airy dining room is the setting for a leisurely traditional breakfast and (that occasional) evening meal, and by arrangement we cater for different diets, including vegetarian, slimming world, weight watchers, fat free, and gluten free.

An unspoilt Regency Town on the world heritage coastline; it boasts the beautiful Connaught gardens, an excellent golf course, pitch and putt. cricket ground, croquet club, bowling green and a variety of other sporting facilities including a sailing club and an indoor heated swimming pool, Scuba diving club in the next resort and wind surfing. There is a sports centre which offers a comprehensive programme for children and adults during the holidays. The Norman Lockyer Observatory just 10 minutes away is a working historic astronomical observatory and planetarium which is open to the public and used for scientific education.
The friendly independent shops, theatre and cinema are all within easy walking distance of the GROVESIDE.
Crealy Park and West Point are 20 minutes by car as are the seaside towns of Budleigh Salterton, and Branscombe.
