The fringe of Bodmin Moor is only a few miles from Golberdon. Cornwall's mining heritage can be explored at Minions, where there are also prehistoric remains and the highest pub in Cornwall! Visit the nearby Cheesewring rock formation for panoramic views of South East Cornwall and Dartmoor

Cotehele is a National Trust property in the Tamar Valley, Medieval house with superb collections of textiles, armour and furniture, set in lovely gardens falling steeply down to a historic quay on the River Tamar.
