An outstanding breakfast served in our elegant Dining Room is a leisurely affair starting with cereals, fruit juices, creamy yoghurt, grapefruit, prunes, peaches, etc.

This is followed by sausages and bacon, cured by our local butcher, local free range eggs and the famous locally smoked Craster kippers are always a treat.

Finish off with toast and a vast choice of local jams and honey served, of course, with numerous teas and flagons of coffee.

We also offer evening meals and afternoon teas, and accept credit / debit cards for payment.

Join us in England's Borderland... situated at the mouth of the famous River Tweed, the elegant town of Berwick is encircled by Europe's finest preserved Elizabethan fortifications.

Our Georgian Town is a rich mix of regimental and army museums, modern art galleries, a theatre, leisure centre with swimming pool, excellent shops and a twice weekly busy market.

Numerous golf courses including Goswick, Berwick, Eyemouth and Coldstream are also close by.

The magnificent stately homes and castles of Northumberland, and the Scottish Borders, including Bamburgh, Alnwick and Floors are all within easy reach.

Along our beautiful Heritage Coastline with its fine beaches and quaint fishing villages can be found the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, source of the original Lindisfarne Gospels.

Further south lie the Farne Islands with their colonies of puffins, eiders, shags, cormorants, terns, gulls and seals.
