The Pyewipe is a free house set in four acres of tranquil woodland, yet only a five minute drive into Historic Lincoln City Centre. We boast a canal side setting with panoramic views of Lincoln Cathedral and the surrounding area. The Pyewipe Inn offers good quality home cooked food to a very high standard, along with fine wines and traditional cask-ales. Summer is ideal for al-fresco dining on our canal side patio, where as in winter a warm welcome awaits you with our open log fire. The Pyewipe Lodge, is a 2000 purpose built addition, which offers twenty fully en-suite, non-smoking rooms. Each room is individually decorated with a personal touch. Whether you are a lone business traveller or with a family attending one of our many weddings or parties, you are assured an enjoyable stay with us.Direct access to the riverside patio in the summer makes the most of the Pyewipes idyllic surroundings. There is nothing like watching the river traffic majestically amble past while feeding the resident ducks. You may even see some of the more illusive wild life like Kingfishers and Heron. Catering for up to 100 people seated or 150 buffet style, this room is used for parties weddings, meetings and conferences. It has a separate entrance, its own bar, kitchen entrance and toilet block, making it totally independent from the rest of the Inn. Restaurant Seating for between 45 and 60 people and an A la Cart menu prepared by the Head Chef. All food is home-made on the premises ranging from the chicken liver and pigeon pate through to the white chocolate and rum cheese cake. The bar serves only the best quality beverages and food Seating for around 60 people in comfort and a real coal fire gives a warm romantic atmosphere in the winter.All rooms are non-smoking. Family rooms are 2 double beds in room. Rooms booked for the 24th, 25th, 31st December and 1st January are room only rates. No breakfast is available.
