Attractions
Brixham is still a working fishing port where trawlers are seen coming and going.
The houses stand on the steep slopes leading to the harbour, reached by narrow streets and steps. There is an attractive shopping area surrounding the harbour.
The nearest towns are Paignton and Torquay, both of which offer the amenities expected of a large resort. Close by are Goodrington Sands and Broadsands beaches.
A 2 mile drive away is Dartmouth - an unspoilt and little changed town situated at the mouth of the River Dart, beyond which you will find the fertile country of the South Hams with its typical Devonshire landscape of rolling hills.
Other local towns include Totnes, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and Dawlish.
