The original two roomed dwelling is 200 - 300 years old. An addition of several rooms was made in the 1880s and a further extension was made in the 1980s. The house is south facing, situated in a cul-de-sac with private parking areas for guests in a sheltered Launceston valley. It has superb views of Launceston town and Castle, Kensey Valley, St Thomas Hill and St Stephens.
