The Shrewsbury is ideally situated a short walk (approx. 300 yards) from the sea front and four minutes through the park to the town centre and market square.

Family owned and run, as new owners we are currently refurbishing the eight bedroomed Shrewsbury to the highest possible standard . Phase one is now completed and we can now boast two deluxe rooms, one of which has a four poster bed. Phase two is due to start at the end of the season and by next year we should be able to offer two family suites.

We will try to make your stay at the Shrewsbury as comfortable as possible. If you are coming by train or coach please let us know and we will arrange to collect you from the station or coach park.

The Shrewsbury offers 6 en-suite bedrooms comprising of two deluxe rooms, two double rooms and two twin rooms. Our two single rooms share a bathroom.

All rooms are equipped with colour TV, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries and a clock Radio. Deluxe rooms also have a 20” TV, DVD and freeview.

Ironing facilities are available on request.

All rooms are non-smoking.

Complimentary tea or coffee is served on arrival in our comfortable dining room.

Breakfast is available between 8-9am. Guests are invited to help themselves to cereal, yoghurt, juice etc and a full English cooked breakfast will be served shortly thereafter.

Great Yarmouth has a great deal to offer with various attractions to suit all. The Golden Mile with it’s restaurants, nightclubs and amusements is just a short walk from the Shrewsbury or five minutes walk will find you in the town centre with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Firework displays have now become a regular event in Great Yarmouth on Wednesday nights, the fun starts at 8pm with a musical roadshow on the jetty at Marine Parade followed by fireworks at approximately 10 p.m. Displays will take place from 26 th July to 30 th August.

The area of Great Yarmouth includes Gorleston on Sea and twenty-one villages that are set in beautiful coastal and rural settings alongside the famous Norfolk Broads. The surrounding countryside beckons with historic houses, fine gardens, wildlife parks, castles, crafts and bygone days collections to visit.
