Sporting Lodge Inns and Suites, a new concept in 'destination hospitality', with Lodges in Leigh, Bradford and Middlesbrough. Our Lodges comprise of American size bedrooms, Local pub, Restaurant and Leisure Complex with pool, gym, steamroom, sauna and spa.Middlesbrough, being our newest acquisition is currently open but undergoing refurbishment. The first phase is complete with a new pub and restaurant open ' The Poste House '. The second phase is the creating of a swimming pool, gym, 5 a side football pitches and a golf driving range is well under way and due for completion in September 2006. The Hotel is remains fully operational while we add the leisure facilities.
We also cater for weddings, conferences, special occasions and provide theme nights from Murder Mystery to 70s throughtout the year. All our Lodges have dedicated Sales People who are available to discuss your needs and tailor a conference or event to suit your requirements.

Our Lodges are not only competitive on price, compared to other lodges in our sector, but offer far superior facilities, such as our Leisure, Conference and Function Suites. The room tarriffs include full use of the Leisure facilities during your stay. The Lodge - Accommodates 136 bedrooms, including 25 executive rooms. All rooms fully en-suite with TV, stereo, video, iron & ironing board. Trouser press, tea & coffee making facilities and ample desk space for business users.

Restaurant - Our restaurant is a brave new concept and opened in March 2006 with feature after feature, from a wine tower and wine rack, containing 2,000 bottles, to the feature lighting behind the bar and in the ceiling, to the huge fish tanks (take a look at the pics!). The food is adventurous yet simplistic and our Chef Richard Howell is well renown throughout the area. Our wine list is extensive and competitively priced with all wines served by the bottle and by the glass.
Our Function Rooms - We cater for all occasions from Weddings, Christening and birthday parties. Our function rooms accommodate 1 to 200 people and are newly refurbished. The hotel is the ideal conference facility offering a relaxed yet efficient setting for meetings, seminars and interviews.

Beamish Outdoor Museum is less than an hours drive away, as is York with its Yorvick centre and beautiful historic Minster and many tourist attractions. Also Durham Cathedral and the town offer a vast amount of historic interest. Flamingo Land is also only 45 minutes drive away. We are close to Yarm, Ormesby Hall, Preston Park, Natures World and other local Heritage such as the Captain Cook Museum. The Metro Centre and Newcastles Eldon Square are both only about 45 minutes drive away.
