Welcome to St Cuthbert’s House - a truly unique place to stay, in the heart of the beautiful and historic Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. St Cuthbert's House is a former Presbyterian church building, built in 1810. It's in the quiet hamlet of North Sunderland, adjacent to the popular village of Seahouses, on the Northumberland coast.We’ve renovated this historic former church, to create a luxurious and beautifully designed house for up to twelve people. It’s a Grade II 'listed building', with its charm and history preserved - but the renovation has enabled us to incorporate every modern convenience and some luxurious touches into the six ensuite bedrooms, and the beautiful, functional living spaces. The house is so much more than simply a place to stay…it’s a place to inspire and stir you, and to provide a memorable experience of hospitality.Jill’s fantastic breakfasts are legendary, and will set you up for the longest of days. They can be enjoyed with a clear conscience too – they’re even ‘healthy’ as we never fry anything, and we use only the very best locally produced food. We can even help you if you’re following a particular plan, like Slimming World or Weight Watchers – so your holiday needn’t be a disaster in that department!Please note we are a No-Smoking property. We do not accept stag or hen groups. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. We are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age. Check-In time: 14:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00.
