Welcome to The Bark House; with cosy cottage style accommodation; set in the Exe Valley just six miles south of Dulverton; on the edge of Exmoor. The location is ideal for a weekend away or a short break to explore Devon; Somerset and even further afield in the West Country. Within easy reach of the Bark House you can enjoy the countryside activities of fishing; horse riding; water sports and walking plus a great range of picturesque villages; gardens and historic buildings. Within easy reach of the Bark House are a variety of organised activity centres; as well as the moorland with wide open spaces. At Exebridge there is a fly fishing school; at Wimbleball a water sports centre; and throughout Exmoor a variety of Pony Trekking Centres. The Exmoor Safari company offers a great day out to explore the countryside. All our first floor bedrooms look over the Exe valley and are decorated in a cottage style. Each room has an en suite shower; or private bath room; colour television; telephone and hot beverage facilities. The tarrif depends on the size of the bedroom.
