There are 2 double rooms offering disabled access, whilst the inn also has 2 family suites. Dogs are welcome, parking is off-road and full restaurant and public house facilities are available. There is also a substantial garden offering a large climbing frame, several bouncy castles and various other games and entertainment for children. The village of Worth developed in the 16th century, when the castles of Sandown, Deal and Walmer were built. The Downs became an anchorage comparatively safe from marauders, and more settled conditions came to this part of the coastline. Trade naturally followed and this period saw the beginning of the red brick style of building, of which there are still a few pleasing examples in the village today. The local church, however, shows traces of Norman (12th century) work.
