Great Yarmouth lies at the gateway to the Norfolk broads, the famous network of waterways, which provide opportunities for boating, fishing and bird watching.

Nightlife:

Nightlife in Great Yarmouth is a colourful mixture of illuminations, night clubs, casinos, cinemas and an abundance of restaurants catering for every taste. In the summer there are free, weekly firework displays on the pier.

History:

Several local attractions highlight the history of Great Yarmouth. A visit to the Time and Tide museum and the smokehouses and potteries will satisfy any budding historian! Further a field there are several local railway lines operating steam trains.

Events:

Great Yarmouth hosts special events ranging from fetes to festivals, carnivals and firework displays throughout the summer season.
