The Cromwell Arms is an old coaching inn situated in the heart of Bovey Tracey – ‘The Gateway to Dartmoor’. Although part of the St Austell Brewery estate, The Cromwell Arms is run privately, with much of the building dating back to the 16th century, and there are many reminders of the civil war period – when Cromwell’s troops were encamped in the area – around the inn.

Modernised over the years, but retaining much of the old character, we now have AA 3 star Inn rating. All rooms are en-suite with colour TVs showing a selection of free view channels, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers in all bathrooms.

Rooms are available all year, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and all include a choice of full English or continental breakfast in the room tariff.

Outside we have a patio area with a beautiful wisteria bush covering it, a lawned beer garden with benches and views over Dartmoor, and private parking for over 20 vehicles.
